Rondeau XXVI

How time flies! This is the last concert for my cohort.

Repertoire:

Franco Cesarini - Images of a City
Kenneth Hasketh - Danceries
Philip Sparke - The Sun Will Rise Again
Beethoven - Egmont Overture
Tomonori Watariguchi - Spring Breath March (Singapore Premiere)
Fascination
Little Mermaid Medley
Karl L. King - The Purple Pageant
Titanic Medley
Piet Swerts - Shirim

Rondeau means "to return" in French. Indeed, I will return to Ngee Ann Concert Band (NPCB) as an emcee. I guess this is a good way to end my journey with NPCB as a student even though I really miss playing music with them.

I spent a short 1.5 years with NPCB and I will never forget the friendships forged, the fun we had, everything.

NPCB holds 2 main concerts annually, along with other performances and competition. Unfortunately, I am unable to commit thus I dropped out.

My first concert with NPCB was in July 2009 in my freshman year. Ripieno which means "all together" in Italian, was a sell out concert at Victoria Concert Hall.

Photo with courtesy to Azri. I ripped it off his Facebook album because I'm lazy to look through the photos in my hard disk. I'm forth from right.

The repertoire for Ripieno included 15 pieces like Gustav Holst - 1st Suite in Eb, Mussorgsky - Night on a Bare Mountain and Coldplay - Viva la Vida.
